This latest addition to our Regional Meetings series is designed to provide participants with an overview of the recommended components in a solid Workplace Violence Prevention program along with ways to reduce or eliminate the negative impacts associated with potential or actual violence in the workplace.
Topics include:
- Common warning signs of violent behavior
- Prevention strategies including de-escalation technique
- Helpful resources to use in developing or improving your workplace violence prevention program

About Regional Meetings: WSIA's statewide membership is divided into six geographical regions for purposes of conveying news of interest to particular locales and conducting regional meetings.
Our regional meetings typically occur on a quarterly or biannual basis in different regions around the state, and aim to provide WSIA members with timely informational updates and quality educational content, with continuing educational credit available.
